He’s a small canine on the market in an enormous world.
A 3-month-old pet named Benji was stolen Friday, alongside together with his household’s automotive, at a Wawa in Forestville, Maryland.
“He’s tiny,” stated KerryAnn Wiltshire, certainly one of Benji’s house owners. “He’s very, very tiny, very loving.”
Wiltshire says she and her boyfriend have been driving from New York to North Carolina Friday after they stopped at a Wawa close to the Ritchie Station Buying Middle in Prince George’s County to get fuel and use the restroom. She says they turned off the engine and locked the black Nissan Altima with Benji, a Peekapoo, inside.
However after they left the shop a couple of minutes later:
“We got here out and we see a man with a masks on and gloves operating in the direction of the automotive. He will get within the automotive and drives off,” Wiltshire stated. “When he drove off, we begin operating making an attempt to chase after the automotive. I suppose he had an SUV behind him, so we name police.”
The Nissan was recovered within the District Sunday. Wiltshire says none of her belongings have been present in it.
“Crucial factor in that car was not a factor, it was my son Benji, my canine. I had my canine, items for the children, clothes, my cellphone, a thousand {dollars}, my ID, financial institution playing cards” she stated.
Wiltshire says it will be a miracle if Benji might be reunited along with her kids, who’re ages 5, 7 and 9.
