WASHINGTON, D.C. – A driver was noticed in a viral video driving on the Nationwide Mall on Saturday afternoon.
Based on the US Park Police, the motive force of the car concerned within the video was arrested. No accidents had been reported.
“Immediately, this black SUV pulls up proper in entrance of us and will get on the grass. Initially, I assumed ‘hey, possibly it’s an undercover cop or an unmarked car’. Didn’t assume an excessive amount of about it, and he form of pulled up onto the grass, and he paused there for a minute, after which he began going proper into the mall.,” Ferdous Al-Faruque who witnessed the incident, informed FOX 5.
Al-Faruque recorded the incident on his telephone, exhibiting the motive force on the Mall.
“There was lots of people. And I believe you will get within the video there have been folks on the grass. Simply having fun with themselves, having a picnic, that is why I like DC is that it’s the form of place you’ll be able to exit and dangle with folks out within the open like that. There’s open areas. And sadly, this man determined he was going to drive within the area and put folks’s lives at risk,” Al-Faruque continued.
Police say the motive force hasn’t been introduced in courtroom but and so there isn’t any different info accessible at the moment.
