Lauren, a director of enterprise growth from Salisbury, and Mike, a development undertaking supervisor from Danbury, Connecticut, linked on Bumble after which met up for a primary date at El Bufalo Tequila Bar & Kitchen in Canton. She thought he was good-looking and simple going; he says she was stunning and stuffed with vitality. 5 years later, they bought engaged at Luray Caverns.
For his or her waterfront marriage ceremony final Might, the pair designed a “dreamy backyard occasion” adorned in shades of white, inexperienced, and yellow, with pops of pink and peach all through. The ceremony befell on the garden at Saint Mary’s Parish in Annapolis, with a reception that adopted on the Historic London City & Gardens. Particular design particulars included the bud vases, parasol umbrellas, paper followers, boho lanterns, native honey as favors, and, Lauren’s favourite half—the rattan lantern set up within the reception tent. Mike’s favourite half, he says, was the meals. The menu included lobster mac-and-cheese, petite bang bang shrimp tacos, and bacon-wrapped scallop appetizers, plus teriyaki glazed salmon, bistro filet, rooster roulade, and fire-roasted purple pepper entrees. And for dessert: A small strawberry-champagne cake, and an assortment of mini key lime pies and strawberry cheesecakes.
