A gaggle of greater than 100 supporters gathered outdoors of Luther Jackson Center Faculty in Falls Church, Va., on Thursday, March 27 to point out appreciation for the passage of a Transgender Day of Visibility proclamation by the Fairfax County Faculty Board. The board unanimously handed the proclamation in its normal assembly held within the auditorium of the center faculty that night.
Karl Frisch, Fairfax County Faculty Board chair, launched the proclamation recognizing March 31 as Transgender Day of Visibility in Fairfax County Public Faculties.
The Fairfax County Faculty Board handed the proclamation, which “encourages all to advertise a caring tradition of fairness, inclusivity and respect for transgender individuals, not solely on this big day however all through the complete 12 months as nicely.”
Vanessa Corridor, co-chair of FCPS Pleasure, was among the many audio system and organizers of the Transgender Day of Visibility rally previous the college board assembly.
