The U.S. Workplace of Particular Counsel (OSC) is investigating former particular counsel Jack Smith, the OSC has confirmed to Fox Information.

Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas not too long ago requested the OSC to look into whether or not Smith illegally engaged in political exercise to affect the 2024 election towards Trump.

“I write requesting the Workplace of Particular Counsel to research whether or not Jack Smith, Particular Counsel for Legal professional Common Merrick Garland, unlawfully took political actions to affect the 2024 election to hurt then-candidate President Donald Trump,” Cotton wrote in a July 30 letter to Performing Particular Counsel Jamieson Greer.
