A Minnesota election choose is being charged after allegedly accepting individuals who weren’t correctly registered to vote within the 2024 election.
Timothy Michael Scouton, who served as the top election choose for the Badoura Township Precinct in Hubbard County, Minnesota, is being charged with one rely of accepting the vote of an unregistered voter and one rely of neglect of responsibility by an election official, each felonies, in accordance with a report from Fox 9.

Scouton was arrested on the fees by the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Workplace, who mentioned he “declined to offer an announcement.”
In the meantime, the Minnesota Secretary of State acknowledged that the fees in opposition to Scouton had been “very critical.”
